Adjudicator, The ones I got from the deli at the grocery store, were skinnier than usual, but still the regular bun length.
I dont know what to say about the your length dilemma..[:D][;)]
    But they are good…
I use either Hebrew National or now the Boars Head since I cannot get the ones I prefer..

Same in Florida, BH are a little skinny but normal length. Reminds me of a joke but I know better.

I do 2nd the Boars Head Natural Casing.. Thanks to JohnA, that has been my salvation for a good dog.
If I hadnt seen his post here, I would still be looking.
    Thanks again, John…[:D]
But I still miss the New England Dogs….
Got the buns in the mail last week though….(Thanks to a friend)
Now I have to convince him to mail me some dogs.

You’re welcome. If he packs in dry ice and ships overnight they should be fine. Now, what about the mustard and sour pickle???

Oops, meant to ask if you’ve done the ribs again?

Sounds like the problem I have here in SC.. Try a butcher shop or a Deli….
I cant even get them to bring them in..
Something about warehousing, blah blah blah.. and demand…..
You may have to resort to doing what I am thinking.
Buying online and paying the EXORBITANT" shipping charges..
There are no good Hot Dogs south of the Mason Dixon line, it seems and possible south of Jersey…
