I get my Sabretts at a local Giant Food Store here in Lancaster, PA they handle both the bun size and ft. Long ones I sometimes have the Manager of the meat dept order a case for me of the ft longs. The Sabrett dog is a great dog with a lot of flavor. 100% all beef too.
Personaly I won’t eat a dog unless it is stated 100% all beef, Please no pork or chicken for me. Just beef.

Try one of the B.J.’s Clubs in Ohio. They sell Sabrett products in the Maryland stores (well, I know of ONE that they do.) I’ve seen Sabretts in Super Wal-Marts too.

We are transplants as well, only we wound up in Oregon. And we also worked to find a local supplier of Sabretts. We finally did in Portland. The importer is just starting to do this. I would recommend that you communicate with your local importers – that is, of course, if you are interested in selling them in Ohio. If you are a consumer, then you may just be SOL unless you are willing to have them shipped from NJ.

    Good luck!

I can’t help you with Sabrett, but I do know that some Giant Eagle supermarkets in Ohio sell knishes. However, having tasted the ones sold at the Giant Eagle near me, I’d hold out for something edible. Of course, I don’t even like the ones sold at the kosher market a couple of miles from my home in central Ohio. Now, if you can find some knishes filled with chopped liver I’d be eternally grateful.
