Denny’s Beer Barrel Pub in Clearfield has great burgers and is right off I-80. Home of the world’s biggest hamburger. They do use Monarch ketchup as mentioned before on another thread
Unfortunately, your best bets along I 80 in PA are the numerous Truck Stops [:(]
As mentioned before, Pennsylvania along I-80 is a vast culinary wasteland. Plyler’s in Brookeville might be your best bet. They recently moved into a much bigger building, within a stone’s throw from the highway exit ramp. They are a buffet and the food, while certainly not great, is okay. What they are known best for is the pizza, which is actually quite good.
If you can wait until you are almost to Scranton, I like Tom’s Kitchen in Conyngham. They serve three meals a day, good pies and have a soda fountain if you want ice cream.
we are driving from chicago to scranton, PA, any thoughts on good quick resturants off route 80?
