I think they are the same ones they used to sell, they taste the same to me. I’ve seen them around for ages.

I guess I should have read your post before posting the new topic…..Taco-flavored Doritos at Wal-Mart? Are they the same ones from the ’70s?

I know this is an old post, but I’ve seen the Taco Doritos in just about every grocery store and Wal-mart I’ve been in. I don’t think they make the Rollitos any more, but they were a tasty little snack. I think I tried every flavor they made and they were all good. I think when they are rolled they have more crunch to them. I love getting to the folded over Doritos in regular bags, much crunchier.

    All,

I was a big fan of taco-flavored Doritos in the 70s. They were esp. good with taco-flavored dip (dry mix with sour cream). They disappeared a long time ago.

Now the new Rollitos are here, and one of the flavors is taco. I tried them, and they seem but a pale imitation of the old chip. The taste is undeniably in the same veain, but horribly watered-down.

Anyone else tried the taco version yet?

Any good taco-flavored chips out there?

    JC
