I never made it to Robin Rose in Venice, but I know they were featured in Rick Sebak’s "An Ice Cream Show" which air on PBS. If I remember correctly, they were credited with creating the flavor chocolate raspberry truffle. It is surprising to hear that a place like this closed.
Does anyone remember Robin Rose Ice Cream? I heard recently that they closed, which is a tragedy. Anyone know why? Any hope that there is a secret cache carefully stored in nitrogen?
