A few miles south of I90 in Lenox, MA, you’ll find Carol’s. It’s only open for breakfast and lunch, but it’s well worth the trip. They bake all kinds of fresh breads all day. I had French toast made from whole grain sesame seed loaf. Wonderful. Good burgers, salads and soups, too.
Get off 90 in Lee, Ma. Follow route 7 south into "Historic Lenox" (forks into 7A). Carol’s is just behind the Exxon station, you cannot miss it.
White Hut, in West Springfield.

It’s a little bit off I-90, and I had a hard time finding it. Exits are poorly marked. But it’s worth it. And the Mass Pike is free at that point.
Any ideas for my trip(s) between boston and albany? I’m very tired of the usual fast food and would think there is good road food along the way.
All ideas are much appreciated.
