Thanks for the answer about photos accompanying reviews, Bruce Bilmes & Sue Boyle. I wasn’t referring in particular to the Varsity review, although that did serve to trigger this question. It was actually a couple of reviews a while back (2-3 months ago?) that just didn’t have -anything- good to say about the places; I can’t remember now, though, which they were!

I would like to see the reviews dated as well as the time of day. In regardes to the Varsity review the three available were consistant until the last one. I would love to see a picture of that place when its busy. I also wonder if the pictures posted represent the way the food was prepared for the last review. Adjudicator was not happy with the meal he was served from a very well know longtime establishment. I hope we get some more reviews of The Varsity as I will be in Atlanta this year and it is on my list of places to visit…Russ

If your referring to The Varsity, I believe thats one of those places you either love or hate.. At least thats what I gather from previous discussions here..
It’s also possible to do both!
A note about the way restaurant reviews work: when a new review is posted, the photos you see alongside it are all the photos that have been posted for that restaurant – photos from previous reviews along with any new photos.

I’ve noticed that sometimes a review is posted where someone almost trashes a previously reviewed restaurant yet the pictures that accompany the review are from previous reviews. That makes me suspicious of the current review – if the place has gone down hill, and you’re going to post a review of it, you should at least have one picture to back that up, IMHO. Or leave off the former pics that show good food! LOL
