I also notice that in one restaurant that I wrote a review and submitted photos, the photos are still there, although not credited, but I can’t find any review, including mine.
If anyone there who visited bellow side just message me.
They are usually sent on Mondays.
Keep us posted on whether this helped solve your issue. I hope so!
I can’t copy your post Cajun, this drives me crazy, not able to start new topics.
Been awhile since I was benched![;)]
Have you tried a different browser, or clearing your computer’s cache?
There have certainly been some problems, but this seems like it may be something related to your system having conflicts with prior versions of forum software.
Try it and report back.
I updated my account to show my new city. Suddenly the look of the site has changed. It has become much harder to navigate ans the forums look different and are much less easy to use. I can’t find a way back to the good interface:-(
Thanks Stephen for the update..
Ditto. And I’m on MSN.cpm
What happens to the roadfood.com reviews of restaurants that are closed? Are the pictures and the articles/reviews removed forever, or are they archived somewhere?
TBH, I don’t understand the logic behind removing the reviews in the first place…
I am sure it is done so people don’t drive far out of their way or make special plans to visit a Roadfood restaurant that is no longer in business. It would be nice if we could still read some of these achived reviews, especially to see some of the phtoso, but they definitely shouldn’t be mixed into the data base with restaurants that are still open.
For the past couple of days, each time I logon the forum uses the current time to search for new post. Of course there is none. The forum is not getting the last logon time from the old cookie.
I’ve been getting that for a while, too. The ad link freezes up and stops the page from completing. If I reload a few times, it eventually reaches completion. I’m using IE9.
Ya i just tried to look @ my profile and i cant save any changes!
I enabled SCRIPT ERROR REPORT in my browser so i could see what the error is and not just see “SCRIPT ERROR” @ the bottom..
For your records Steve, the error is on line 316 and the error is: ‘tinyMCE’ is undefined.. (It worked a few months ago when i edited my profile but now since i read this and tried it myself,it doesnt)
Safari and Firefox on Mac won’t download working pdfs for RoadFoodOffline.
When I go to the RoadfoodOffline page ( and click on the map the browser goes to “http://www.roadfood.com/Insider/RoadfoodOffline/RoadfoodOffline.aspx?Locale=RegionWestern” waits for a second then a dialog pops up “Opening ReadfoodOffline.aspx” and offers me the choice of downloading the .aspx file. I download it, but it’s obviously not a pdf file and I can’t read it.
Date of Occurance: 5/28/11, 10am PST and 5/26/11, 9pm PST
Browser: Firefox 4.0.1 and Safari 5.0.5 (tried both)
O.S: Mac OSX 10.6.7
All said and done, I can (and did) get a pdf, but only with Google Chrome browser.
BTW, it’s a great download, with over 130 pages of info, but I thought you should know about the giant segment of users who won’t be able to get your download.
Plus, it’s duplicating my post, eliminated my ratings, and my designation at Double Cheeseburger.
Weeks, tons of negative posts, angry long timers and STILL NO RESPONSE OR EVEN AN EXPLANATION…….maybe we should start a thread JUST for expressing our anger over what they have done to Roadfood!!!
