I enjoyed starting this thread, both of us have lost our grandparents but the memories last forever.
This is my 100th post. The June mini-meet at the Coney Island Restaurant, in Middletown, NY, marked my exact one-year anniversary with Roadfood.com.
I have enjoyed recalling past food related experiences. Reminiscing about a summer working for Howard Johnson s, almost 50 years ago, was a favorite.
I would like to ask my fellow roadfooders to search their own archives and choose a personal favorite posting and share it with us.
