You did well. Djuli is really off the beaten path, but it is in the hotbed of ethnic eats in Louisville. Next time you are in that area, go to Vietnam Kitchen. Amazing Vietnamese food just across the parking lot from Djuli.
Lynn’s is expensive, but it is also very good. She uses lots of high quality ingredients like artisanal bacon which is one reason the prices are up there.
Jack Fry’s is one of Louisville’s premiere upscale fine dining restaurants. It is one that is great for out of towners.

I am also glad to hear you tried Cunninghams. Service there can be a little surly but it has the best fried fish sandwiches in town and realy goo homestyle food. It used to be in a neat old building south of downtown but the structure burned down a few years ago. The new location is not quite as nice.

Next time try Mazzoni’s or Flabby Devines in place of Cunninghams.

Instead of Lynn’s for breakfast, try North End Cafe or Toast.

Definitely try Vietnam Kitchen since you know how to get to the area from downtown.

In my last visit to Luisville, Ky. I found some, Great, Good and some Fair, places to eat. Here is my list.

Djuli, A hard to find, small, but good, Bosnian food, at 5312 South Third St. Service very good, food great, cost low, would go back. Give it a try, you will be happy with it.

Lynn’s Paradise Cafe, also hard to find, small, but fair, breakfast food, at 984 Barrett Ave. Food is now, due to, I think, being on T.V. food show, overpriced. Good for a once trip, but would not go back.

Cunningham’s, easy to find, good size, great prices, great Sunday brunch, at 630 S. Fourth St. would go back. This could be, or is a landmark.

Jack Fry’s, easy to find, small size, high prices, great food, at 1007 Bradstown Rd. would go back, even with the high prices, and old, needing update inside, also can be a landmark.

If you have been to the above, tell me what you think, if you have not, give them a try, and let me know, what you think.

Also, stopped at Ann’s in Jeffersonville, In. not worth the stop. Food fair, not worth the time.

My stay at the Galt House was good, even with the high sound level of the air conditioning unit, but food there is just fair, and high priced.

Will return to Louisville, again soon, help me with what you think.
