The ethnic markets are there for a break between restaurant stops. I’m thinking 4-5 restaurants and 2-3 markets. You have enough on your list for a second get together.
Count me in!
If the theme is going to be strictly ethnic markets, then consider:
We’ll see what happens Dale. Nothing is set yet.

The AZ Republic had a feature in the Wednesday food section on http://www.azcentral.com/style/hfe/food/articles/2012/03/13/20120313valleys-ethnic-specialty-markets-offer-world-choices.html?page=5 area ethnic markets and a front page story about the http://www.azcentral.com/arizonarepublic/news/articles/2012/03/13/20120313fry-bread-house-phoenix-wins-james-beard-award.html Fry Bread House receiving a James Beard Award. Bingo, bango, bongo … we’ve got the start of an Eat & Greet. I envision a CONTINGENTTM style tour of several restaurants and markets where we share small portions at each stop, possibly dining ala trunk along the way.
The Pie Diva will be making her Spring 2012 tour of the basin in early April, so the only thing left is more participants and a planned itinerary.
Besides the Fry Bread House, I’d like to visit Andreoli Italian Grocer and De la Ana European Delicatessen.
Ideas? Suggestions? Participants?
