From one hopeless romantic to another… yes, Pwingsx, we WERE holding hands under the table. (Good thing Bushie didn’t post the hot tub photo — YIKES!) [}:)]
Yes, we were holding hands under the table-you caught us! It was interesting that our seating arrangement had us next to each other as opposed to across from each other.
Cheese and Jane,
What a fantastic picture. Couldn’t help wondering though (Pwingsx is a hopeless romantic)….were you two holding hands under the table? Kind of looked like it.
Here’s hoping…..*sigh*………..
BTW Bushie, the teenagers may be CW’s little "cheesies," but Winnie was my contribution to the mix, and trust me, he’s got his own personality issues. But he’s a true Roadie runt; loves to drive in the car, and has pretty particular tastes… well, as long as what you feed him contains some kind of meat, cheese, chocolate, chicken, cheese, fish… did I mention cheese? (Yes, I KNOW chocolate is bad for dogs, but a little every now and then hasn’t hurt him. What’s a pastry chef w/ a whining dog to do? I couldn’t deny my baby a Toll House chip or two!)
Boy, you really know how to start trouble don’t you? I have two teenagers and that’s enough for me.
Jane and I do have a little one around the house. His name is Winnie and he’s a Bichon Poodle mix. He’s 10 but is in great shape. I’ll send you a pic soon.

Thanks, CW. I found that picture again the other day, and I just couldn’t resist. Now, the next question is, how long before we have some other little "Cheesies" running around the house? [;)]

CheeseWit:
Great thread regarding an even greater adventure. I whole heartedly agree with your praise of the Maine Diner’s WARM lobster roll. No leftover, mayonaise-based lobster rolls for me. MD’s warm lobster roll in a split frankfurter roll and accompanied by warm, drawn butter is unmatched. In fact, I believe my quote many years ago of it being "the best damn lobster roll on the planet" is still on the menu. (God, I’m so friggin’ modest.) Congrats on the nupitals!
Mayhaw Man:
Speaking of blueberry ales, there is a microbrewery in Rockland, Maine making this very same beverage. Their name escapes me, however, but how many microbreweries can there be in Rockland?
All:
Speaking of Rockland and although I don’t believe it has yet been reviewed by the Stearns, anyone in that neck of the woods should check-out The Brown Bag in downtown Rockland next time they’re in Down East looking for a great breakfast.
A’yuh!
Hey Bushie…congrats on achieving the DOUBLE CHILI CHEESEBURGER status recently!!
Thanks Bushie and JD and CW, you guys look fabulous and very happy!!!! Nice pic and congrats! Happy Roadfood Trails to you both!
I want to thank Bushie for posting that pic of us. Even if it’s 4 months old.
If they look like Jane, then wonderful…if they resemble me, my sympathies.

Paul, we were having a great time. We paced ourselves lobster-wise. Nice 1 1/2-1 3/4 single lobsters that night…more the following day and night.

Hey y’all, I first want to apologize for the delay in posting this picture, but better late than never. I just felt I HAD to put it up here, because I think it’s such a great shot.
Anyway, here are two lovely people, on their honeymoon, at the Ogunguit Lobster Pound in Ogunquit, ME.
Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Mr. and Mrs. CheeseWit (JaneDough):
So, CheeseWit, if your mom & sister live in Cherry Hill, have you been to Chick’s for their "famous" cheesesteaks lately [?] Can’t believe I’ve lived in Voorhees for ten years & just got there recently…
