big place on the right side, white building, green letters PUB something.
Thanks–do you remember the name of the place?
Here is another suggestion….The Catfish Place in St. Cloud (Kissimmee), FL. This is a place we ALWAYS stop by, usually on our way home. They simply have the best catfish anywhere south of Orlando and their sweet tea is awesome! Very friendly staff and locals. Just get off the TP at exit #244 which is also Hwy 192/441. Go east about 3 miles and you will see The Catfish Place on the left side.
Here is their website: http://www.floridasecrets.com/Restaurants/EC/CatfishPlace.htm
After 15 years of going to Orlando, I have found something.
There is an English pub just as you get on 27 south towards Sebring (turn in the driveway of the defunct Plantation Inn) … viable food.
We live in Fort Lauderdale, but will be going up to Orlando next weekend. Does anyone have any suggestions of an off-the-beaten-path place to eat for lunch? We are so tired of all the icky buffets and chains up there. Thanks for any suggestions!
