From a guy working in a hot dog factory: I try not to eat anything GMO, BGH, high fructose corn syrup, artificial sweeteners, or partially hydrogenated. I’ve been in a hospital once, on my birthday. I take no medications, never had a flu shot, and eat organic, natural/locally grown, and fresh food. I’ll be 67 next month and still have all my hair, all my teeth, and my pimples finally cleared up. I’m overweight and walk four miles a day at a brisk clip. I believe food and life style effects health. How many of our buddies were overweight as kids, had diabetes, asthma, or cancer? How many were autistic? Few or none that I recall. Why do so many kids and young adults have serious health issues these days? Is it food related? I’ll spend money on good food rather than medicine and doctors, any day. Healthy food doesn’t have to be organic, it has to be good (chemical, pesticide, and additive free) and fresh, not full of ingredients  synthesized in a food lab to extend the freshness and enhance the flavor.

    Not the least bit important.

    I take that back.

The prices of the overhyped stuff is important enough to make me avoid it like the plague![V]

If it’s labeled organic I won’t buy it. That’s how important it is to me.

How important is it to you that your food be organically grown or raised?
