We’ve been to Cape Cod over the past 12 years and have often stayed one night on the way up in New London, CT. We tried "Captain Scott’s Lobster Dock" last September and really enjoyed the setting and food. I had delicious fried scallops and Mr.D-L had fish and chips he enjoyed, but I’ve heard great things about their lobster roll and will try that next time. It can be difficult to find so get a good map using the address and I found these directions on another site: "From downtown New London, take Bank St to Howard. Turn left on Howard and look for Hamilton on your left. It’s only one block long. Drive to the end and turn left."

Near Mystic are two fun places — Abbott’s and Costellos! They’re in a town called Noank. They may be difficult to find but are well worth the effort. Check their web page directions and follow CAREFULLY.
