Okay, I just voted for CPR. Anything for Joe and John!
Joe and John Fencz from Charlie’s Pool Room are the boys I am talking about.
lehighvalleylive.com is having a “2012 Hot Dog Show Down”. Joe and John don’t serve thousands of dogs every week like the “Big Boys” in the area, but they serve the finest!
If you have visited CPR, and enjoyed their hot dogs, go to http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/food http://www.lehighvalleylive.com/food/ and vote!
“You’ll have from now until 5 p.m. Friday to nominate your favorites. When nominating, please remember to name the restaurant and where it’s located.”
May the Best Dog Win!
P.S. I was there today and the Mealies were spot on as usual.[8D]
Got Bob’s vote, too!
I’m not going to mention how many times I voted for Charlie’s Pool Room. Let’s just say Chicagoans would be impressed!
I’m probably one of the furthest away but I voted for CPR anyway!
Just voted!!
Just voted too.
BTW, Kelly Huth, who’s doing the articles, is a kindred spirit. In the past she’s done series on Lehigh Valley cheeseteaks and Chicken Wings, both of which let me to a couple of really great places for those items.
Links to some of these articles are on the left of the opening page (Lehigh Valley Food) of Joe’s original post:

Well, it looks like Charlie’s didn’t quite make it to the top. The winner was Jimmy’s Hot Dogs in Palmer Twp PA with Charlie’s a close 2nd. I’ve been to Jimmy’s, yes they are good, but come ON, better than Charlie’s?? And that’s not even accounting for the uniqueness of Charlies.
Also, I’m not quite sure how they arrived at Jimmy’s being #1, since it appears that 1 of the 3 judges voted Charlie’s #1, and one of the other judges, Kelly Huth, voted Jimmy’s #1 but then goes on to say that Charlie’s will be the first place she will go back to.
Oh well, here’s the article and the video, showing scenes from the 5 or 6 finalists.

Way to go CPR! It would be great to support the guys on June 6, but there is no way I could be there. No doubt they will wow the judges!
Joe-
Any advice on getting those stains off my fingers?
Just voted for CPR, and I haven’t even eaten there yet. Now that’s a deficiency in my life to correct!

You can’t vote twice from the same computer though.
A sneaky person would vote from their cell phone also. Not that I would ever do anything like that[}:)][:D]
