Two of the best restaurants in metro Atlanta are within a block of one another on Main Street in downtown Acworth. Henry’s Louisiana Grille and Fusco’s Via Roma are both well worth a visit. Atlanta Magazine listed Fusco’s in an article on the twenty best restaurants outside I-285. Henry’s is always packed. We were told an hour and a half (we had made no reservations) wait when we arrived. Actually it was a little less than an hour – on a Friday night.
More of a roadfood type place is Catfish Jim’s on US 41 about a half mile north of Barrett Parkway in Kennesaw. Very good fried catfish, shrimp, chicken, chicken livers, hush puppies and various sides.
BBQ Street, Whistle Stop Cafe, Trackside Grill all in Kennesaw. Acworth has a few places on the downtown strip. Can’t help you in Dallas. If you need directions let me know.
Looking for great independent eateries in NW Georgia. In particular Kennesaw, Dallas, Acworth areas.
Thanks for your help.
