Bushie,
We’re here…Been a busy month, but looks as though things will return to normal now..Family visits are over, The wedding went well, The new "Wonder Dog" is starting to learn her roll in the house. Pheww,It is time to do some BBQ!!!
As soon as things settle down a bit more (next month) it will be time to do a week’s run down the Georgia Coast. We have to get ‘new dog’ ready for that roadtrip.
Otherwise, the boards seem to be calm, and all is well with the world (or at least in my little corner)
Hmmm, must be on my end….no go. I’ll try going through google. Thank you and Go Gators!
Did you ever get that working, Rusty? I thought maybe I had left something out, but when I click on the link above, it takes me to the website. [?]
Also, BTW, glad to see you back on the board, Mr. Mayor! Some of us were beginning to think you had been taken to that "Great Waffle House in the Sky". [:D][}:)]
Bushie, I get "page cannot be displayed", I’ll try again though.
The site Rusty recommended is a great one. I "visit" that one a lot. Here’s another:

There’s also lots of great info in the BBQ thread on this Roadfood site, which you probably have already noticed.
JWatson, you’ve come to the right place. There are so many informative people here. This place becomes kind of an addiction! One website I find informative also is: http://www.barbecuen.com. . If you ever have any questions their glad to help, just like these folks!
Welcome to the Boards JWatson. I think you’ll find this a pretty congenial group. There is a pretty comprehensive archieve of notes on BBQ in many of the sites Message Forums. We seem to be able to learn a lot from each other! Enjoy, and feel free to comment as you uncover new ‘stuff’ for discussion.

Hi, I’m new to this forum, but have been looking for a place to talk BBQ! I’m in South Carolina, but grew up in NC, and I love to BBQ for family and friends. I use a Char-Griller drum-style grill that my wife bought me a few years back. I am relatively new to the whole BBQ community, but seem to have a knack for it, as all my family and friends really enjoy my cooking. I look forward from learning some new things, and talking BBQ!
