Sounds very good, maybe a little sugar and salt too.

Okay..i lied, I cannot handle liqour at all, I am total lightweight.
I would add a touch of chili peppers when i make the sauce, i like the sweet/spicy combo.
Applesauce, Pineapple juice, Cinnamon, Nutmeg, Simmer till combined, adjust on the fly, use on Pork Chops, Pork Loin.
You can make a drink out of this but you have to high speed blend it, mix with Rum.
This is seriously good stuff and easy as pie to make…obviously!
