Sounds good to me, when is lunch or dinner being served? I’ll take mine med. rare, thank you very much.
I bought a commercial burger press from Ebay.
Buy fresh ground chuck, put 5 ounces at a time into the press and pull the handle.
Spray a cast iron grill pan with cooking spray and preheat on High.
(I live in a condo, I have no outdoor grill). Put the burger in, add fresh ground blackpepper, cook for about 3-5 minutes per side, depending on how you like it. Cook 2 slices of bacon till done.
In the meantime, prepare bakery fresh buns by toasting, add sliced tomatoes and lettuce on one side, put about a tsp. full of ketchup, a tsp. of your favorite mustard, (I prefer Dijon style), and a dollop of mayo, (Hellman’s/Best Food’s works well).
When the burger and bacon are done, place them on the other side of the bun.
Serve the burger with lots of napkins, it’s quite sloppy.
My favorite burger? Mine!
