Thank you very much for for the information on: The City of Brooklyn Center, and Amazon.com.
Welcome to Roadfood.com
Thank you very much. I am happy to hear Roadfood.Com gets a Commission. I also liked what Bushie had to say. That would be great if it can be done.
Stephen, please keep us all informed of links to products we can buy that would help support the website. Obviously, the Stern’s books do, but I think we’d all like to use links like you gave above to help out whenever we can. [:)]
You can purchase the book directly with this link http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0873514521/roadfood. We get a tiny commission that supports the site with that referral.
Amazon.com has "Minnesota Eats Out". The city of Brooklyn Center has a good list of Minnesota restaurant books on their website (http://brooklyncentermn.citiesunlimited.com/travel/maps.html?term=Minnesota+restaurants)
Sounds like a wonderful book. What book store on line can it be bought? Thank you very much.
The Minnesota Historical Society Press has just published Kathryn Strand Koutsky and Linda Koutsky’s "Minnesota Eats Out," a lavish coffee table book about the history of restaurants in the North Star State. It is loaded with evocative post cards, menus, long-lost recipes, and vintage pictures, as well as tons of information about everything from hash house waitresses to swank supper clubs.
