I typed in “Massachusetts mobile food code”  and got 100’s of links.

As Foodme stated you need to cross check the State code to the local ordinances.   There could be local requirements which are more restrictive.

this was at top of the list

    Welcome to Roadfood!

You probably need to look at the LOCAL Health Depts. City, County or what ever you call them up there.

In most states the Health Depts. operate on a local rather than State basis for food service businesses.

    Check Leominster first.

Here’s a Roadfood Forum that will help you going forward:

Hi all – I’m trying to get started in the hot dog cart business and have been unable to find the Massachusetts state code requirements for carts. The State dept of health website isn’t easy to navigate, does anyone know of a direct link to this is? Thanks so much.

[p]Sorry I didn’t  look here before I did some deleting. I asked TJ to stop because while he has a point, no one really cares. Chewingthefat is a disgrace. He threatened you years back Paul, not sure why you like so many others have embraced him…but it doesn’t  matter to me. Elan at fexy indicates they aren’t  bothered by him and his self promotion  so I just deleted a bunch of childish crap and as I said, asked TJ to let it go.[/p]
