Back in late 60’s used to get Aunt Lucy’s out of Walkersville but she’s gone. Meyers Ham out of Westminster was great.Loved that and the fried chicken at Baughers Restaurant, with black raspberry ice cream.I think Meyers maybe changed hands. These hams were not "country" hams but a bit "cityfied" with a real flavorful taste. Some called them "pepper" hams. Betty’s restaurant in Frederick served Aunt Lucy ham sandwiches. Any clues or rec.s.Have been back in mid west long time and cant get used to "Water cured".
