Thanks for moving my question. We always stop at Fuller’s Old Fashioned BBQ after stopping at the Bragg Blvd Flea Market. That is on our way home. As far as when we come down next Saturday we will probably get something in Smithfield NC after our stop at the Brightleaf Flea Market. Any ideas in Smithfield would prefer Chicken or BBQ but does not have to be.

You are exactly correct Mayor.  I found the OP’s message about I 95 BBQ on the Trip Report board at the bottom of a long thread on I 95 which means everyone who answered it would have to let every picture download.  I made a semi statement about their post here with the intent to get the OP some good information and all we have done is argue about Kim’s and what’s a BBQ restaurant.  I hope someone will help the OP out and post some useful information for them rather than reading our argument.

Marie Callandar’s is A Bakery/Sandwich Shop, but they have a BBQ Sandwich (looks like a REAL Sloppy Joe!) and several Mexican dishes on the menu, They make no claim to be either a BBQ Shop or a Mexican Restaurant.

Fusion menus seem to be everywhere…and are certainly not worth the amount of debate posted here.  If Moonlite BBQ put Soy Sauce on their tables would they then be a Mongolian BBQ???

McDonald’s and Burger King in Cleveland, MS do not have BBQ on their menu.  McDonald’s and Burger King’s Websites don’t indicate any BBQ on their menu.  Would you kindly direct me to one that does sell BBQ.

The ones around me sell it. McDonald’s has a wrap and I had the Burger King ribs just a few weeks ago. Granted, I’d never have ’em again, but I did have Burger King ribs.

McDonald’s and Burger King sell barbeque, but last time I looked they were both hamburger places.

The OP wanted BBQ.  I listed Kim’s who does sell BBQ.  You say it’s not a BBQ place and “I guess you haven’t been there” now you say they do sell BBQ.  Do you apologise for your unkind remark or just agree to disagree.

I have been to Kims BBQ.  It is not a barbeque place; it is a small country cafe.  They do serve a pulled pork sandwich  but they are more known for  their meatloaf and  fried shrimp.  Why they ever named it Kims BBQ is beyond me.

Thanks for the tip on Moore’s.  The last few times I visited NC and SC I flew in and out.  It’s been a while since I was down I 95.

Your statement “guess you have not been there” is not very polite.  Check your information on Kim’s out closer.  They are closed today but the last time I was there they served BBQ.  The serve more southern food than BBQ but I had pulled pork when I was there.  I called another restaurant in Dunn and they said Kim does serve BBQ.  I guess we can agree to disagree but I will go with what I know.  Good luck.

I would like to make a couple of corrections to your list.

    Moore’s is no longer there.

Kims is NOT a bbq…………guess that you have never been there.
