That may be true … but what with the little thimble sized portions you’ll get at Ruby’s, it won’t cost the same.
my vote is for Tony Lukes, as well…
they are almost open 24 hours, not quite…
last time I went, they told me they had just opened 6 am…. (our red-eye flight back from Vegas had just landed).
And they close around 3 am. Just have the cabbie wait for you, while you "take out"
go for the hot roast pork, or the hot roast beef…
extra au jus on the side!
Definitely head to Tony Luke’s for a Roast Pork Italiano. A very quick ride up I-95 from the Airport.
hands down: not too far (easy taxi ride) and open 24 hrs — Tony Luke’s for roasted pork and rabe sandwich…
Good luck. I was there in a snowstorm last year and ended up settling for Denny’s which was next door to the hotel (can’t remember what the hotel was). The food and service was horrendous. The storm had socked in everyone all day and Denny’s did not or could not adjust to the high volume of stranded travellers trying to get a meal.
arrgh. I did a google search near the hotel address (8800 Bertram Ave.) The only thing is a Ruby Tuesday. Thankfully, Jack Daniels tastes the same pretty much everywhere.
Good luck! I have flown out of the Philly airport and there is nothing decent close to the airport. Inside the airport is a fairly good selection of food and the Marriott which is adjacent has very good food;.

I’m staying at the Fairfield Inn Philly Airport.
I’ll need a late night dinner and a drink on Sat. Night.
