JoseyWales-I got a chance to stop by Stephenson’s last May and thought their sandwich was outstanding.Really good.As for Parker’s, I just don’t see it.Nor did I see a wood pile out back-if you get my drift.
Wilber’s has slipped a bit from what it used to be. Just across the street in Goldsboro and in Clayton, NC is McCall’s BBQ. Fairly good if you have a taste for Eastern style. Stephensons is off the beaten path but the parking lot is always packed on Hwy. 50 and near Hwy.210. Parkers is a fixture.

I ate at the one where I40 meets I95, I did like my meal.
The pork bbq was not made on site from what I could tell, but the sides were really good.
Just another day in the Carolina’s
