I like to setup from 2 p.m. – 8 p.m. It might be different in your locations. I found the earlier I setup the less sales. I think it is because most people go to the store after their kids get out of school and after they get off work. This is during the mid week. Weekends will probably be good from noon until close.
If you setup early Oct and see slow days, I would not give up. Just adjust the days/hours, or do it on weekends only.
Make sure you are there closer to Halloween. Maybe 2 weeks before. That is when these stores get flooded with people.
Wild Dog: I would bring your hot dog mascot on the weekends. I bet that would add sales for sure.

Hello all, I am going on my second year of the Halloween superstore. I did really good business last year, and the stores usually open in late September, until October 31st. I provided a link for you all because they have stores all over the US. Just type in your zip code. The phone number will be provided under the store. Just call and ask for the manager. Tell them you would like to setup through October. It will benifit the stores sales, as well as provide a quick lunch for their employees (cuts down on employees being late from lunch). Most of the managers will be happy to have you there.

I hope a lot of newbies try some of these options. These stores are perfect for a starting location, and getting your feet wet. Some of the vets probably have a set spot, so it might be hard to break off to do another store. If your new or a vet that wants to make extra money give them a shot. The stores get busy in the late afternoon/evenings so maybe a second stop for the day for some of you.

Hey Folks. An awesome place I set up every year is at a pumpkin patch on weekends. Now I have coffee and a real big seller is hot chocolate WOW ! Then I set up in the same spot where they sell Christmas trees. GOLD MINE kids, Gold Mine. Hot dogs, chips ,cookies, candy , sodas. I give away a free candy cane to the kids whether their parents buy from me or not. Good Will and my happy attitude is making me rich.
