Hey guys,
I’m a chef in Toronto, and I’m new here. I worked in a restaurant nearby, but we had to shut down our restaurant due to COVID-19. But we plan to reopen it after renovation when this COVID scenario comes to an end. We think it will remain congested even after restoration. So we plan to buy a shipping storage container for keeping the accessories and storing other requirements in the restaurant. When enquired with my friends, they suggested a shipping container selling service in Toronto. I have visited them, and the containers were of good quality. So I plan to purchase them.
Has anyone here use shipping containers for storing restaurant equipment? What are the things to be checked before storing? Please share!
Thanks!
I once shipped some equipment from Germany To my country. The shipment was extremely delayed and the equipment stayed there for at least 65 days. It was still intact & I had chosen a 40 feet container with heavy equipment on it. It stayed quite well.
So your plan should work out, but a 40 foot container may not fit in your restaurant.
