I still remember the jingle from last time they were here….”Hurry on down to Hardees baaaabeeeee, where the burgers are charco broiled”.

Wow I never knew that Hardees was ever in Massachusetts??? Must have been a long time ago.

Never realized how many chains I liked until I didn’t have them anymore: Hardee’s, Steak & Shake, Schlotzsky’s, Culver’s, Chick-fil-A, and (god help me) Fazoli’s.  (Not Jimmy John’s, though – after experiencing CT grinders, JJ’s is ruined for me.)

Thumbs up on the biscuit & gravy and the mushroom swiss burger (it’s a big one!)
Of course, they sometimes go off the deep end with items like fried bologna biscuits.  At least here, breakfast brings out the crowds & drive-thrus, but by time 5:30 PM gets around, very quiet (a few years ago, there was a closing time of 6PM because of the slow business).

Why is offering fried baloney biscuits going off the deep end? Are you nuts?

Can’t ever remember seeing Fried Bologna Biscuits at Hardee’s. Poster must be confusing Hardee’s with someplace else. I would have bought one if they did!

Occasionally, our Hardee’s will have fried baloney biscuits and they’ll be on the menu for a few weeks.  It probably is regional, just like using bologna vs baloney is also regional. Regardless of how it’s spelled, in Kentucky, we eat baloney, not bologna.

    Maybe it’s a regional item?

    Or Test Marketing?

They really do have the best breakfast biscuits. I’m a big fan of their mushroom and swiss burger too.

I echo both of those statements.  For a fastfood place, they have very good burgers, and their mushroom-swiss burger is my favorite.  And their biscuits are also the best of all the fast-food chains.

Their mushroom & swiss is something you typically can’t get at any other big chain, and it’s not shabby.

If I could get that in a drive through around here, I might actually eat breakfast every day!

They should get out of the hamburger business and stick to biscuits.

Their biscuits and gravy are better than what I’ve had at some local diners here in CT.  If they keep that on the menu, then they may be the only fast food chain up here to offer it.
