I have a rule. I will never wait longer than the amount of time I expect to spend eating a meal – put simply, I’ll wait longer for fine dining than for casual dining, for example. But I would never, ever consider waiting two hours for a meal under any conditions. No meal is worth wasting two hours of time in addition to the time spent eating, at least in my opinion.
I wouldn’t wait 2 hours any place, and I don’t care if their giving away the food. My waiting time is limited to a 2 cocktail time frame. The secret is tip the bartender really well and if he’s worth his salt he will get you seated with out the long wait, works for me. Chow Jim
