I have a rule. I will never wait longer than the amount of time I expect to spend eating a meal – put simply, I’ll wait longer for fine dining than for casual dining, for example. But I would never, ever consider waiting two hours for a meal under any conditions. No meal is worth wasting two hours of time in addition to the time spent eating, at least in my opinion.
I wouldn’t wait 2 hours any place, and I don’t care if their giving away the food. My waiting time is limited to a 2 cocktail time frame. The secret is tip the bartender really well and if he’s worth his salt he will get you seated with out the long wait, works for me. Chow Jim
Anyone who ever stood 1 & half to two hours to get seated at the "Gropp’s Famous Fish of Stroh" in Stroh Indiana will be gald to sse that they are back and now have two locations in Fort Wayne: The Stroh’s location is still closed. See link below:
