Well Ann, looking at the radar, I do dare say our weather guessers may be off. Either way, makes for some nice grilling weather! Them brats are starting to sound better by the minute…
Well, off to the store to stock up… Wish we had some of that New Glarus product on this side of the pond.. Have to opt for my normal cheap generic brew instead, or maybe a bottle of something to keep me warm. That and I’ll have to rattle my brother who lives in Madison to get up to the moment weather updates (that and let him know about the Grill’n for Peace deal – for next year that is).
Jeez, Vic-we are supposed to get 12 inches here in the Milwaukee area by Wed.night!!

As long as you are in town you need to pick-up some of the fine beer that the New Glarus brewery puts out. Currently, you can only purchase New Glarus products in WI so I stock up when I am in the state. I would suggest some Spotted Cow and Stone Soup (if still available) but really any of their products are exceptional.

I hope you’re here already or arriving soon, Paul. Possibility of 6" or more of snow overnight and more tomorrow…7-10" total was the forecast I heard this morning. The weatherfolk are saying there’s a real shot it could be the snowiest winter in the history of the city and county.

I’m all for feeding the hungry…… but one day a year?
Sounds like a great event to participate in…
Only in the "Berkeley of the Midwest"…[;)]
Ignoring any political overtones (and that’s not what this post is about, so please don’t turn it into one), this looks like a pretty fun way to kill a Saturday and put 53 Weber grills to work:

If they do it next year maybe I’ll see about joining the fun…provided beer’s allowed, of course.[}:)]
