Russ, now that you bring it up, I do recall seeing the Paces jar on the counter. I’m disappointed. I send him decent salsa from New Mexico. Maybe he’s not catching on quite as fast as I thought he was.I really dont think salsa goes with Fajitas. Grilled jalapenos with the onions and peppers. Then a Pico de Gallo with 3 medium tomatos 1 medium onion, fist full of cilantro, kosher salt, juice of 1/2 lime, a couple shots of Cholula, a little vinegar, dash of sugar, 2 fresh jalapenos chopped fine seeds and ribs removed and a little ground pepper. Served with a shot of good Tequila and a bottle of Tecate beer….Russ
That Pico recipe sounds really good….
Eh… Maybe a Margarita also….
JB, the vittles you sent sustained Nancy and I on wash day this week. Red beans and rice! We ain’t hungry no mo!
gratefully,
rouxdog
The ashtray and tv guide in the background of that one pic made me super hungry… the food looked good too.. Aren’t you glad I taught you how to cook son!!!!

mar,
Thanks, I feel better now."Set decoration". I’m sure the Pace Picante was, hopefully, for that purpose.
Getting into JB’s head, I figure he will say the Pace’s was there for the Wife’s tacos.
FUNNY! I also noted the Pace Picante stuff on the counter.
Hopefully it was just for set decoration.
Russ,
If I’ve told him twice I’ve told him once,PICO DE GALLO! The BOY seems to be a slow learner, hard headed heating and air conditioning business owner in Baton Rouge. We got our work cut out for us dealing with educating the BOY!! He does listen from time to time. There’s hope.

Food looks good however you cross contaminated the olive oil, spice rub container, counter top, juicer, and the camera…..Russ Also why the jarred salsa?
JB,
you’re catching on. Fiesta fajita seasoning is a wonderful blend. I’m pleased you followed my suggestion, adding fresh lime juice even though it isn’t listed in the directions on the bottle.
There’s hope for my amigo!

It was real good, I will use that brand from now on. I already chunked my bottle of McCormik in the trash
