Hmmm… Grapes, yeast, fermenter… Oh ya!
I miss them fresh grape leaves from the spring though… Make for some nice ethnic wraps (veal and rice, then some) that my freinds have turned me onto.
Only a fool would make a grape pie……………it is a very tedious process but if a man has ever had one that is really good, he will never forget it.[8D]
I don’t believe I’ve ever had grape pie. Sounds good to me!
Send me some of those grapes and I will make you a wonderful pie!
The fruit of my vines are ready for the pick. I’m typing this with Concord stained fingers and mouth. What a bumper crop I have this year.
They are so good this time, big and fat, sweet as sugar cream pie, and bursting with juice. One of life’s luxuries is picking the fruits of your gardening labors and eating them right there where they grew up, infused with the warmth of the sun that nurtured them.
Can’t wait for the fall citrus crop.
