I knew Graeter’s would draw you out….be prepared for your supply to vanish….right after it diminishes!
I will share our wonderful ice cream with you folks in da windy city.
Krogers had their Graeters pints on sale for $3.49 each, they were “out” of peach so I got 2 rain checks for the sale price. I just need freezer space before I go on and pick up 20 or so pints
CTD – You didnt go and buy them out already?? If i recall from your previous posts you were going to drain my selections and buy it ALL!!!
It didnt work, Krogers had Blue Berry Pie back in this week and on sale $3.49 / pint PLUS I had 1.00 off / pint coupon from Graeter’s, AND got x6 times the fuel points. (I bought a kroger gift card for 4x the points and then used the kroger card to buy the ice cream to stock the freezer back up fr 2x the points) $1.28 / gallon of gas here I come!
Nice selections!
I’m not so keen about Graeter’s anymore, now that I discovered Turtle Tracks from Velvet. I’m not even a big ice cream fan, but this stuff is wonderful. Vanilla ice cream with caramel swirls, butter pecans and chocolate covered caramel cups.
I just saw this update about Graeter’s in Chicago. Looks like the first location will be in Northbrook.

The Graeter’s in Northbrook opened last Sunday (May 10th). What I had there (I went twice that day) was absolutely fantastic. My first visit was a cup of toffee chip. My second was a cup of strawberry chip and mint chip. It can’t be beat. I’ve managed not to go back for one entire day and part of today.

My eyes are already peeled. Can’t wait! Lemme guess, a Graeter’s Roadhouse BBQ Italian beef flavor!
Slow down pal, that’s part of my upcoming “Big Announcement”. Keep yer eyes peeled on the “Eat & Greets” forum tomorrow…

To get some Graeter’s? If I’m going to Chicago it’s not going to be for ice cream. I want Italian beef.
David, I have no doubt you saw Graeter’s selling at Whole Foods for $7.99, but it’s not a fair comparison to the other major grocery outlets around town. It’s no accident that Whole foods nickname is “Whole Paycheck”, as in that’s what you’ll spend for a few days worth of groceries there.

Your freezer can only hold so much. Sooner or later all that Graeter’s Ice Cream is going to migrate west and the Ohio locations will wither away to nothing.
But then you’ll have another reason to visit Chicago.

Oh, oh!
Watch your supply diminish before your very eyes….
I’m heading out to the local Graeter’s now.
Their pint flavors have been in grocery stores here for a while now …
This will be a brick & mortar location offering full service as well as retail sales.
Oh, oh!
Watch your supply diminish before your very eyes….
