I’ve seen the ads too. Somehow they seem to be wanting to get the point out that it is a really big serving, so the ad is based on the old "Flintstones" scene where the weight of the brontoribs tips over Fred’s car. The problem is that Fred’s brontoribs were half the size of his car, and the picture of the Domino ribs makes them look almost puny.
Been seeing TV ads for Domino’s here in Boston – they are introducing babyback ribs to their menu.
Interesting concept – if I were still in college I’d love to be able to order a pizza, some wings & some ribs. One-stop shopping. [:)]
But, having never had a pizza delivered in 20 years of adulthood, I don’t think I’ll be calling Domino’s to start, no matter what tasty finger foods they’re offering.
