It’s in East Boothbay, a small town near Boothbay Harbor. Besides the great doughnuts, there are other wonderful homemade bars and goodies, plus sandwiches and stuff you’d find in a gentrified general store.
i’ve never been…where is it? i was in maine just last summer.
I just read in the Maine Times that the fabulous East Boothbay General Store is being sold. We spent a week up there last summer and stopped in every morning for the best coffee and homemade doughnuts around. I hope whoever buys the business will keep the same chefs. It would be a pity to lose those doughnuts! Anyone else have fond memories of this gem?
