Yes, please. I have no idea what why NYer’s call it Texas Sauce*, but I’m betting it’s absolutely delicious on that burger. I want 2 of those RIGHT NOW. In fact, a reasonable approximation may have just usurped my original dinner plans.
*Despite having lived within 3 miles of Newburgh for years and spending too many of my formative years hanging out approximately 2 minutes from Danbury’s Texas Hot Weiner, I refuse to accept that “Texas Sauce” is just a soupy chili.
The sandwich in the photo looks so good, it’s killin’ me!
That photo reminds me of the Frisco Melt that is on the SnS menu across the country…only the sauce on the Frisco Melt is a 1000 island dressing, not a chili-like, dressing. A very good sandwich.
