    I was disappointed several years ago when I went to Red Robin and found they no longer had the hamburger I liked. I don’t remember what they called it, but it was made with tons of grilled onions.

    I think Love My Lab and Russ had excellent posts on
    this thread…very thought provoking.

    Also, I’m playing around now with Umami in
    cooking and having excellent results, much
    better than just using Accent. I made a chicken
    stock last week that shocked me.

    As I’m sometimes forced to do, I agree with the Sundancer. The cooked onions I’ve had on burgers always seemed to add an extra layer of greasiness to them. Besides, I like the crunch and sweetness/bite the raw ones add.

    That means casseroles, fries, baked, grilled…all sorts of goodies!
