    SC–

I did not, since I didn’t know about Adrian’s.  Wish I had, though.

Bummer, but thanks for checking for me!

It was nice to see you again, and I’m glad the burger, late as it was, met with your approval.

Aren’t Mr and Mrs Buddy going to Irish Fest on Friday and Saturday? Or is a Sunday visit on the agenda, too? I’m planning on Irish Fest for Friday evening, and hope to see the Roadhouses there…. Also planning on Fred’s for Saturday, early afternoon. I might consider a Sunday whirl through Irish Fest, but doubt I could go.

    Well look at this!
The reply window loaded the 1st try!
Thanks for thinking of me Buddy!
From the partial pics I can see, the burgers looked pretty darn good.

I’m off to try to post a comment in the chicken thread.

Thanks!  When you visited Fred’s earlier this year did you also stop at Adrian’s?

A great lunch!  Had the Fred’s Burger, sorry no photos, and excellent onion rings.  Even with the delayed response from the kitchen, I would eat here again!  Great to see X1, the Roadhouses, and ChuckL50 and group!

X1 – Sorry, but no reduced sugar options available at the Elegant Farmer.

We may have a couple more additions to the guest list as I am currently putting the squeeze on MilwFoodlovers to join us.  Also, I knuckled under and booked a hotel in Racine for Friday night, so we’ll start our day closer to Burlington.  As God is my witness, we will not be late to the party!

More updates as they become available.

I’m pretty sure I can do Fred’s on the 21st, though I’ll confirm after I get back from Florida (the 18th).

I doubt I’ll go to the Irish Fest on the afternoon of the 21st; I’m more likely to go on the 20th, during the free admission period. (That’s the “thrifty Scot” part of my heritage kicking in [:)])

Sorry, folks. It’s not that I don’t want to include you all, but I am not kidding when I said that I decided to do this trip late. I booked my flight late Wednesday night to fly in last night. That’s last minute, even for me. My plan is to knock out one of the two remaining ballparks on my list to complete the 30 current parks. I think that is going to happen on Sunday, decidedly west of Milwaukee. MKE was really just my jumping off point for this trip, so I am planning to make the trek to Fred’s today, swing back to Milwaukee via the Elegant Farmer and stop for Kopp’s (current flavor forecast is partly sunny with a chance of chocolate chip cookie dough!) before spending this evening at Miller Park.

I haven’t 100% decided yet, but I will likely begin my trek westward following the game tonight and spend the night in/near MadCity. ScreamingChicken, perhaps you may be available for a breakfast tomorrow (Saturday) in that area?

Normally, I am all about the flexibility on my vacations, and would happily rearrange some dates to make a group outing at Fred’s work. This, however, is a quick weekend getaway, and necessitates what would qualify for me as precision timing!

OK…I’m off to Fred’s. You guys wouldn’t have liked it anyway. 😉

For those of you coming from the south and/or east who’ve never done so, take WI-11 around Burlington’s southern border, exit at Pine Street, and come into town past the Nestle plant.  Make sure the windows are rolled down.[;)]

It was really good to see so many of my old friends from the Contingent again, and Fred’s big beautiful half pound burger made the afternoon even better. Hope I get to see y’all again real soon.

Not sure what you’re seeing; everything seems to be in order on my screen.

Be that as it may, The plan is to meet at Fred’s this Saturday, between 1:30-2:00pm.  After that we could head back to Irish Fest, or possibly a tour of Greendale, or any number of other activities in and around Milwaukee.

Response to this year’s Fred’s excursion has been rather light.  We know JRPfeff and Pie Diva will not be there.  ScreamingChicken and I have made firm commitments.  I think X1 and cjucoder are planning to attend, but haven’t heard from them in a while.  After that, you’re the first person to respond one way or the other.  Maybe someone could put the word out on Facebook and direct the group’s attention this way.

Hope you find a ride, we’d love to see you.

    Buddy,
…We’ll be at the south end of the Miller stage, towards the front rows for Gaelic Storm.

    Mark

We’ll try and stop by on Friday.  Fortunately, there’s not much conflict going on at  8:30 on Friday (when Gaelic Storm is playing).  There is a group called Two Tap Trio who can be heard http://www.irishfest.com/festival/music/day_2.php here.  They’re also playing at 8:30 on Friday.  We might start out at Gaelic Storm and then head over to see Two Tap Trio, but this wouldn’t be the first time we had to split our time between two venues in order to see two groups in which we’re interested.

    See you on the 20th,

    Buddy
