He got caught inflagrante in a pool at a cheap motel somewhere down in Florida.

I have always been a fan of Julia Child. I guess she is responsible for me being a food-aphile !!!
I still like watching her today, even though she does not cook much, her commentary is excellent !!
Yeah, and having to watch out for snake droppings everywhere — yecch!

While I was interviewing for my present job with my boss’s now-ex-husband, Julia called to speak him. I found out they were friends and had been to each others’ houses and cooked for each other numerous times. I thought, what a great place to work — boy was I wrong!
I think of her every time I go up to La super rica in Santa Barbara for their marvelous Mexican food. When I read years ago that it was her favorite place in the US for Mexican food, I knew I had to try it. Thanks Julia!
Wondering if any of you knew that Julia was a spy during WWII in Asia. Saw that at the International Spy Museum in DC a few months ago.
I love Julia – she never came across as snobbish while cooking all of those fabulous dishes. What a gal!
