Several years ago, I was such a fan of the original Iron Chef, I named one of my cats Ohta (after the floor reporter), and another Moyashi (a theme ingredient of bean sprouts) – both cats are still around, btw.

Hey you guys, Sara Moulton’s getting another show, on public television: http://www.villagevoice.com/nyclife/0751,lalli,78664,15.html I think this series is delightful, anyhoo.
I like watching Top Chef and the Foodnetwork on occasion. But, i usually just watch the Cooking Channel at http://www.Better.tv for new recipe ideas. Better.tv has 2 minutes video tutorials that are fun to watch and pretty easy to do, and you can access them at any time. Let me know if anyone else uses them – i really like the new holiday channel, it has given me some great tips for the Christmas season, when i have absolutely NO time (or energy) for ingenuity.
FN *has* gone to the dogs, IMHO. The only new show I’m excited about is "Down Home with the Neelys". I’m in Memphis, so it’s exciting to see one of our hometown guys get their own show. I think it starts in February.
I have to agree with porkbeaks. Generalizations like that are beyond stupid. Ignorance is curable but stupid is forever. I used to smoke, am I still a pig? Evidently mack184 just wants confrontation, maybe there are some adequacy issues that makes him pick on people.

If you read above, FN has decided to bring Bourdain back, and on Christmas, at that.
Apparently, FN has changed their policy to "whatever is popular and makes us $$$".
