I would second the rv awning,they are made to be mobile and easy for one person to extract and retract easily.
If you want to save some money you can get the frame from a rv salvage yard and have a sail or boat yard make your canvas to match your truck,should be around $500 for everything.Lowes can order a lessor version with stock colors for around $800.
