They dont have anything like that in the ones here. In fact, what is supposed to be a deli, is just a small case with some deli meats and a few cheeses. Oh, and of all things, an olive bar.??
Huh?.. cant even get any kind of salads, except pre-packed..
Quite pitiful for a grocery store.
    I hate it…Plus its expensive….
I miss Price Chopper from the north..And Publix from the south.

DITTO….It is the closest to me also, and I dread having to go there. I would rather fight the crowds at Wallyworld.

I HAD to go there today, as it was raining,(and didnt want to drive 15 miles to Kroger, or the 6 to Walmart), and I cursed the whole time I was in there.
I HATE that store. I dont know what they meant by a re-vamping that they did over the summer..CUZ, they sure dont have what I look for.
    Blech!

Food Lion was a colorful chain until Delhaize of Belgium took them over. ABC News once did a number on them. I find them useful since I can get a lot of southern grocery brands such as Martha White, Bama, and Margaret Holmes as close to New York City as the state of Delaware and York, PA. I only buy packaged groceries there sealed at the manufacter’s plant. Like most supermarket chains, Food Lion sells private label brands. They may have entered into a sales agreement with a high quality food processor. But I have to agree with Mike that, except for isolated items, they are an also-ran supermarket chain.

I’ve found their own brand frozen broccoli and frozen peas to be superior to any other brand. Give it a try.
