Well, since you asked, I will be glad to help. You will find that this recipe works well with doves and quail as well

Be careful what you wish for[;)]

    Crow Pie:

    1 crow
    stuffing of your choice
    salt and pepper
    shortening
    flour
    2 Pie crust mixes
    2-3 hard-boiled eggs

Stuff the crow. Loosen joints with a knife but do not cut through.
Simmer the crow in a stew-pan, with enough water to cover, until nearly tender, then season with salt and pepper. Remove meat from bones and set aside.
Prepare pie crusts as directed. (Do not bake)
Make a medium thick gravy with flour, shortening, and juices in which the crow has cooked and let cool.
Line a pie plate with pie crust and line with slices of hard-boiled egg. Place crow meat on top. Layer gravy over the crow. Place second pie dough crust over top.
Bake at 450 degrees for 1/2 hour.

It doesn’t really matter to me, I was just pickin’. I do know however my husband likes the Cubs and his bosses will pack in a New York minute as they recently did to see the Cubs play! My family were always Reds fans…may the best team win!

I must admit that i would LOVE to see the Sox finish their year with big helping of bear stew—–but then,as we sox fans know—"some days you eat the bear, some days the bear eats you"—-but,as long as they get by the Yankees!!!!!!,i will be satisfied![:D]

Anybody out there have any good reciepes for Marlin? We already opened a can of "whoop ass" on it the other night, it was damn tasty, but I am in the mood something different this weeked. Definetely filleted but maybe something grilled over "Wood" or fried with a little mango "Sosa" on the side. Also, I am looking for good reciepes for either Red Sox or Yankees, man can not live on fish alone.
