What would you serve at a predominately children’s based concert (daytime) for concessions to a large group of 10,000++ ? BBQ is King Regards, Byron[8D]
Byron,
I’m not Doctor BBQ, I’m the Doctor of BBQ see http://www.DrofBBQ.com
Now to your question:
Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, fries, chicken breast sandwiches,BBQ, but all of that depends on the age of the children. A bunch of questions come to mind.
What is the age range?
What equipment do you have?
How many on your crew?
Is this a one day event?
Where are these kids from, what part of the country? (see below)
Has anyone done this gig in the past, if so what did they serve?
I did a ten day music festival once (23000)and the age range was 6 to about 29 and a bunch had never had BBQ before. (most of those with no prior BBQ experience were from NY, or that area) But once they tried it they couldn’t get enough. The event opened at 7:00 AM and closed at 4:00 AM daily and of the 12 vendors two stayed open 24 hours per day.
I may do it again this year………not sure, just waiting to see what the dates are.
Jack
Greetings Good Dr. and may I say it’s always a pleasure to see another pretty face on television! Love your work and style.

Who’s serving big numbers and what are you serving? I’d be interested in hearing about kids and adult foods, which items are the most popular, and why certain foods are served. Price is flexible and quality is always preferred, what have you been successful with? The menu is being created for a touring children’s based music series during daytime hours to be featured in the southeastern states starting in Florida. Thanks in advance for any ideas and if you are feeling frisky, let me know. Thanks, Dogmeat
I don’t understand what your asking here?
