If robin eggs are the pastel colored, hard shell, chocolate and malted milk eggs than they are my favorite.
I also like the day after Easter candy. All of it.
My favorite “Easter Candy” are hard boiled eggs pickled with beets, vinegar and pickling spices.
And regular old fashioned Jelly Beans, The Black ones!
Just out of curiosity, what is your favorite novelty Easter candy? I used to love the Cadbury Creme Eggs and, to a lesser degree, robin eggs but I haven’t really had Easter candy in ages (unless you count a bag of vaguely related Lindor truffles a few years back).
Hahahahahahaha
I want to hear about your lunches at Woolworth’s.
Grilled hot dogs with East Coast-style Buttered side cut buns (and plenty of onions, pickles, and most important, plenty of ketchup.
I live close to a small candy company called Sarris and they make larger chocolate eggs during easter that I love. Here’s a link to them.

Russell Stover’s individually wrapped Dark Chocolate covered Marshmallows.
I like Russell Stover’s jelly beans, Elmer’s pecan eggs and heavenly hash. Those mini robin’s eggs mentioned earlier, that are really just candy coated malted milk balls. The minis are just easier to eat, has nothing to do with portion control.
Oh yes. Starburst has the best Jelly Beans.
Years ago I worked next to Doscher’s Candy in Cincinnati, OH. Their main product line is the French Chew Taffy. Since we purchased candy from them Harry Doscher would come over and ask for help lifting the heavy copper kettles of candy when no one was there. During Easter Harry would make a few 5 pound chocolate covered cream eggs all decked out with spring time dcor. One year I purchased one and this was one of the best cream eggs I ever ate.
Cadbury creme eggs will always be number 1 in my heart. After that it’s Reese’s peanut butter eggs….I wish they would sell them all year, it’s the perfect ratio of chocolate and peanut butter. I like Starburst jelly beans over any others and a box of Whitman’s Sampler is a perfect Easter.

They don't do that now. It's 50% off, then 75% off.
When I worked at Woolworth’s as a teenager part of my job was taking all unsold Easter candy back down to the storage area for next years sales. Mmmm. Easter candy lost all allure.
