Any flavor from The Creamery at Penn State.
ROAR LIONS, ROAR!!!
Ice Cream NOT worth the price – Cold Stone Creamery[V]
Cold Stone Creamery is WAY over priced and does not measure up taste wise. Place was empty the other day..saturday afternoon, hot, not a customer is sight. I had a sample taste, did not like it and looked at the price and left.
1.1 Roasted Marshmallow..absolutely fabulous
1.2 Butter Pecan or Maple Walnut–leaning more on the latter
1.3 Honest to goodness rich vanilla, none of the artifical or fluffy gummy cheap stuff.
1.4 Not ice cream, but Limoncello sorbet
Recently had toasted almond at Collins Creamery in Enfield CT. It set a new gold standard for me. I understand the dairy at Uconn also has toasted almond. Can’t wait for my next trip through mid CT to run a taste test.
About a thousand years ago, it sometimes seems, Good Humor had a Toasted Almond stick. My mother loved it. I hated it.
Discovered a new (at least to me) flavor today at Bedford Farms in Bedford, MA. Red raspberry (chocolate) chip. It’s now my second most favorite flavor (toasted almond still holding as my favorite).
Chocolate and peanut butter (the kind that has swirls of PB, not Reese’s cups or anything).
A few days ago I had my first taste of Jeni’s at the North Market in Columbus. It was whiskey pecan. Very good, but actually too many pecans and not enough icecream. I still prefer Graeter’s Summer Peach. Unfortunately it’s now gone since it’s no longer summer. [:(]
A team of wild horses couldn’t get me to go there for the festival!
lleechef Nice pictures
You picked a much better weekend to go to Utica than we did. We tried to go last weekend for the festival and after sitting in dead stop traffic for over 30 minutes, we finally gave up and turned around.
As for my current favorite ice cream, it woudl have to be the milkiest chocolate in the world from Jeni’s.
And for store bought gleato, I have found the Talenti to be the best.
Mine is Peanut Butter Chip or some variation.
The weather was beautiful today and we were in the mood for ice cream, and perhaps a new favorite flavor so we headed to Utica, Ohio, to:
It is an old grist mill.
The outdoor patio.
And the favorite flavors…….mine on the left, Turtle Tracks (vanilla ice cream, swirls of caramel, nuts and chunks of chocolate. For MH it was Wild Black Cherry.
My favorite is no longer available [:(]
Howard Johnson peppermint stick in a sugar cone [:D]
I do understand. When I “O-D” on heavy cream ice cream, I find myself using the DQ drive-thru for awhile.. and sticking to the minimums.. plain cones or small sundaes.
Chip mint is my favorite.
was in rhode island and massachusetts last week and stopped at grays in rhode island and had the frozen pudding ice cream was very good as always wish i could get it here in buffalo.
