I had the ribs when I first moved here in SC.
I enjoyed them very much….
I also got the sauteed mushrooms, but they were kind of bland.
It is worth another trip for me.
Hey, you’re in Myrtle Beach, right? I just read that they’re going to tear down the Pavillion and the amusement park across the steet. Our kids used to love spending as much time away from us as possible there.
Close enough.. I work in MB.
This is the Last season for the Pavillion-many special happenings are taking place this summer.. Many people are upset about it, but condo build, they must! (or so they think)
Propery values have skyrocketed, and much money to be made.
Myrtle Beach is a sea of condos, and multi storied resorts and hotels.
Everywhere you look, there is so type of building going on.
The resort I work at has 16 floors and that looks like the norm to me.
Even where I live, 25 miles away, there is ton’s of farm land, and right next to those corn fields, is a new planned community in the works.
Its a shame. I can see the area where I live in 10 years.. No farmland, no horses, no sheep (yes sheep),… just new homes everywhere.
I worry about a hurricane like Katrina hitting here, as the beach area is so close to the buildings here.
Sometimes, at high tide, with a good rainstorm, the waves come all the way up to the protective sea grass, which is only about what looks to me is a 6-8 foot divider from where grass starts for the resort. Then the pool area is right there.
Not much "breaker" area at all.
Sorry to derail here..

I’ve eaten there a couple of times. Not bad. Last time through I had the shrimp and grits which was pretty good. Had to add some hot sauce to get it kicked up a little but overall a nice filling dish.
Too bad we missed you in Helen. Poverty Pete, Iwannago and Sundancer was there. We met up with the Mayor and Janet in Dillard.
I will try FATZ the next time I see one. Seems like you were pleased.

We stopped at Fatz on our way home last weekend from Helen, Ga. This is a medium size chain located in Georgia, NC, SC and Tenn. My husband had their ribs and I had a giant blackened chicken caesar salad. We were pleased with the taste, size, sides, price and decor.
