We’re throwing a food party in Austin, Texas on Sat Feb 8th at Tamale House East.
We’ll be braising yak, making alligator boudin, antelope carbonnade and goose porchetta.
We’ll also be rolling out our Carolina Reaper hot sauce.
As always there will be a big vat of chile con queso with handmade totopos.
Bourbon pecan cobbler is our sweet treat.

Did you give him the deluxe tour and bring Mamaw Smith?
I met this fine man who is truly talented. He came through Knoxville to pick up some ham for one of his pop up’s at Bentons. I believe he is really on to something very good.
We had lunch at Louis On Broadway where I have taken many of my Roadfood friends. I believe Russell really enjoyed it.

Louis served me the best plate of spaghetti I’ve eaten in my entire life. Sundancer is a premium host, Knoxville is on fire with new restaurants but the old school still stands strong.
Can’t wait to get back to Louis.
