Not that it helps UncleVic at all, but there is a place that sells Vienna Beef products in East Troy:Gus’s (the menu is here). I’ve never been there but a friend of mine has (for the cars), so we’re going to make a trip over there sometime this coming summer.

I know this is far after the fact, but this is a must-do: http://www.easttroyrr.org/ I don’t know if you want to blow $100 on a dinner, but it’s not a bad ride. Take a round trip to http://www.elegantfarmer.com/ and eat there, or eat at the soda fountain across the tracks from the museum.

Just down the highway is this gem (mind you I’m not recommending the food, just the Bloody Mary):
    Dockside Grog & Galley
    Location: N9228 E. Shore Road
(on Lake Beulah)East Troy, WI 53120

Look no more. Dockside Grog & Galley, located on Lake Beulah is home of Milwaukee Magazine’s choice of the winning Bloody Mary masterpeice. Every seat in the house gets a beautiful view of the lake and countryside. As for food, a full menu everyday with big servings. Also featuring authentic Chinese food. Pull up with your boat, car, or bike. Motorcycles park right in front. Spend the day with Pontoon, fishing boat rentals and motors.

Vic, you’re in luck. Once you’re in Milwaukee, head east on Layton to Martino’s. TJ and his mom have been in business for years and sell authentic Vienna Beef hot dogs and Polish on the steamed S.Rosen poppy seed buns. Their foot long bun is plain. You can order an 8/1, 4/1, or a footlong, as a chili dog. They also offer the Vienna Fire Dog, which is a mildly spiced Polish. While in Madison, you may want to check out one of these places serving Vienna Beef hot dogs. This site put up by two college students(one from Chicago)looking for the ultimate chicago style dog in Madtown. http://www.hotdogchicagostyle.com

(sorry, can’t help in the least on where to eat, but you had to know this title with your name would grab me, right?)

Ya, seen your post last year to Chicago.. And yes, I did envy ya! ha ha.. But James is one of the mellowest, laid back concerts that makes ya feel like your sitting in your backyard (With a pool of water and exotic birds and drinks at your fingertips)…. Get to go again! And for everyone else reading this, Felix and I went to the Blossom in Ohio, just to find out about 15 minutes away that the concert was cancelled. But we made it to the rescheduled concert and it was awesome! First time I’ve seen him, and the music tells rest of the story…

Figures… Taking the ferry from Muskegon to Millwauke, renting a car there… Something to pass the time… Keep harassing my brother to send me some cheese and brats, but the mailbox has been empty… Do it on my own I guess.. Was hoping for atleast a decent dog stand there.. Maybe have to rattle CSD…

I hate to bust your balloons, but there is not much in East Troy. However, a girl I work with grew up there, I will ask her tomorrow.

Well, heading out to the Jimmy Buffet Concert scheduled for 6/10/06. Just bought my tixs off ebay… Ya, the Chicago concert was far closer, but my brother lives out in Madison. (Figured I should atleast stop in and visit for a minute or so)… Thanks to ChicagoStyleDog, he already filled me in for more then I can handle in Madison. Was curious if there’s any good Chili Dog stands or some damn fine Mexican around East Troy???? Also, though this may sound morbid, I would like to visit the site that Stevie Ray Vaughn passed away at. One of my all time favs in the rock world!
